To increase the number of practice learning opportunities within and supported by local authorities.
The group will work alongside a number of local authorities that want to improve their performance indicator for practice learning and develop an integrated practice learning strategy. Following a detailed audit of the local authority's existing approach to practice learning, the project team will provide a report, with recommendations for developing and integrating a practice strategy.
The findings from this work will be communicated to other interested local authorities through regional workshops. Also a guide will be published highlighting the key components of an effective practice learning strategy and the activities that lead to a high performance indicator in practice learning.
