PRESENTATIONS
VENUES
This is a workshop to enable delegates representing employers and universities to give their views on the present provision, and challenges, of placements offering statutory social work tasks involving legal interventions, and on whether students are adequately prepared for future work in statutory settings.
This event is aimed at anyone interested in qualifying training of social workers in statutory children’s and adult services and those working in the voluntary, private or independent sector. We also welcome participants from non traditional social work and social care settings, for example health, schools, housing and criminal justice.
Attendees should include but are not limited to: practice learning co-ordinators, learning and development managers, workforce development managers, managers of social work services, heads of social work programmes and course tutors with a special interest in placement provision.
Please note: the programme is the same at each venue.
