Accolades 2008

Please use the links below to find out more about the Accolades 2008 and how you can nominate an individual or an organisation you believe deserves some recognition for their work.

Now in its sixth year, the Accolades has grown in popularity to become one of the most prestigious and enjoyable events of the social care calendar.
To achieve an Accolade proves an individual’s or organisation’s success in improving the lives of people who use social care services through workforce development and demonstrates a commitment to innovation.
Nominations are welcome for twelve categories. There are nine adult social care categories including for the first time a category for best employer amongst those individuals who use services and employ their own staff. A practice learning for social work students category is open to adults, children and family services social care organisations. In addition, there are two categories, which recognise and celebrate the work of children’s social care only.

Nominations for 2008 have now closed, but for additional information, please go to the Skills for Care website.
