Regional Leads Group Terms of Reference

The Regional Leads Group is an Advisory Group to the National Practice Learning Strategy Group. Recommendations made by the group will be presented to the National Practice Learning Strategy group for action/endorsement. The two groups working together will provide expert advice and guidance to Regional Training Committees delivering practice learning.

The purpose of the Regional Leads meeting is:

Communication: a opportunity to keep up to date with national and regional initiatives, and share ideas and issues.

Cost-effective use of resources: by ensuring practice learning activities are co-ordinated and delivered consistently in all regions.

Dissemination: of key information and policies affecting practice learning.

Support: in the development of regional practice learning plans and projects, using evidence and data where appropriate.

Consultation: on key policy and other issues affecting practice learning, with a view to raising them at a national level, as required.

Increased influence: on the profile of practice learning at regional level and decisions made by regional committees that affect practice learning.
